About Me

Beijing Jan 2012You might think that gardening is hard, but everyone has to start somewhere.

In the last five years, I’ve progressed from pots to borders, killed a lot of plants, but also learnt a lot about them as well. My aim to help you understand and experience gardening based on my own, very new experiences.

You never know how much you can do until you just try. Learning about gardening is very much like learning to drive a car. You can read the theory, but you need to actually do it before you fully understand the whole journey.

This is how I started, Google, gardening books and old episodes of Gardens World.

Alongside gardening, I have experience with freelance blogging, copywriting for national retailers including B&Q, with a BA(Hons) degree in Magazine Journalism & Feature Writing.

  1. Nice to meet you Robert. You are right…You’ve got to dive in to really learn something. I’ve been gardening for a long, long time, yet I still feel like a beginner. There’s always something to learn. And then if you garden outdoors, you have the elements to deal with not to mention bugs! All in all, it’s fun. Happy gardening! Koko:)
